The Village of Lomira Fire Department was organized in 1898. The Fire Department currently has a membership of 30. Anyone interested in becoming a Fireman or First Responder should contact Fire Chief. The Fire Department covers the Village of Lomira and the surrounding townships of Lomira and Ashford.

Fire Department practice is held the second Monday of each month and department meetings are held the fourth Monday of each month.  In August, the firemen hold the annual Pavement Party fundraiser at the Lomira Athletic Fields.  The event provides funds for equipment and training for the upcoming year.
