Notice of Meeting to Adjourn Board of Review to Later Date
Village of Lomira, Dodge County Board of Review will meet on the 13th day of May, 2026 at 6:45pm at 425 Water Street, Lomira for the purpose of calling the Board of Review into session during the forty-five day period beginning on the 4th Monday of April, pursuant to Sec. 70.47 (1) of Wis. Statutes.
Due to the fact the assessment roll is not completed at this time, it is anticipated that the Board of Review will be adjourned until
the 12th day of August, 2026, at 5pm.

VILLAGEWIDE REVALUATION NOTICE

A revaluation of property assessments in the Village of Lomira shall occur for the 2026 assesment year. Revaluation notices are expected to be sent to property owners in April, 2026. Please also notice that the Assessor has certain statutory authority to enter land as described in Wis. Stat. 943.13 and 943.15. The ability to enter land is subject to several qualifications and limitations, as described in the statutes. The assessor's office accounts for assessment changes due to new construction, land divisions or combinations, remodeling and permit related activity.
The Assessor does NOT calculate the taxes, choose the tax rate, or set policy for the Board of Review. The Assessor is concerned with value, not taxes. The taxes you pay are proportionate to the value of your property compared to the total value of the taxing district in which your property is located.
The assessor's office discovers, lists and values all real and personal property located within the Village of Lomira, with the exception of manufacturing property.
